About Me

Throughout my professional careers, I have worked almost exclusively with homes from construction to inspections. My professional experience with homes began in 1986, with my father, doing free-lance construction work in Anderson, Indiana. In 1996 I co-founded a home design company by the name of Arcadia Designs with my father in Bloomington, Indiana. I worked alongside my father until 1999 when I switched to Hough Drywall in New Palestine, Indiana. At Hough Drywall, I started at the bottom of the company and slowly worked my way up to oversee commercial building sites. Throughout all three of these careers, I did remodeling, roofing, built storage sheds, painted, insulated homes, flipped houses,  did EIFS, drywall, framing, metal framing, flooring, acoustic ceilings, and other various construction work. In 2007, I co-founded another home design company by the name of Emar Designs until going back to Hough Drywall in 2009. In 2012, I opened Trinity Home Inspection LLC. based in Bloomington Indiana. I felt this was a positive switch thanks to my construction background.

After years of construction work, I felt that I had a great start on the knowledge I needed to transition into home inspection work. To further my knowledge in the field and earn my credentials I took ASHI approved online courses, in class training at Heartland Home Inspection Training in Indianapolis, Indiana, and took a wood destroying insect course at Purdue’s main campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. After completing this career move and building a solid foundation for my business, I have come to love what I do as an inspector. In 2016 I was honored to receive the Affiliate of the year award from the Bloomington Board of Realtors. I aim to convey my love for my job with every inspection that I perform.
